Being Negative: it’s a habit. It’s a bad habit, in fact it could probably make you ill, it definitely does not welcome good people, good events, opportunities when everything in your mind is negative. In the office, think about who whines a lot, has nothing going on in their life, always a drama… don’t you get exhausted listening to that? Do you do that? It’s unhelpful to aid or listen to people, who constantly see work negativity. Here are 2 tips to work on ridding this habit:
1. Every time you think a negative thought or something negative comes out of your mouth (even thought or said) put a dollar in a jar. Keep going, for a whole week, then give the money to charity.
2. Think that you taking a year off of your life. Think you’re losing one friend, consider you won’t be invited to that party, consider you won’t get that promotion. Being “cool” and respected is a mix of being positive, warm, charming, and grateful, and giving.
